Website maintenance
To be effective and reliable a website needs to be regularly maintained, technically and content-wise. Some clients like to do this themselves; others prefer to have an ongoing maintenance contract. We support both options.
Handover and training session
If you wish to maintain and update your site yourself, we offer a two-hour handover and training session for £50. We talk you through the site and how to maintain it. We also show you how to make basic content changes e.g. writing blog posts or changing images. Takeaway notes will be provided. The session can be face to face or online. If face to face, travel expenses will be charged.

Site maintenance
The activities in our Site maintenance plan are required to run any website, however simple. They include things like updating plugins, regular backups and security monitoring.
Site maintenance packages are payable by Direct Debit.
Content updating
To keep your site fresh and engaging, it’s important to keep the content up to date. We can help with that. We know it’s sometimes difficult to predict what content you will need to change and when, so our content updating packages are designed to be flexible and affordable. They work a bit like an Oyster card: you buy a certain number of hours up front. As the time gets used up the balance goes down. We let you know when it’s running low and you have the opportunity to top it up with more hours.
These packages cover changes within the existing menu / feature structure of your site. If you wish to make more substantial changes, e.g. adding a whole new page or a new feature such as online shopping, then please see our Development page.
